Mark Burch is an accomplished basketball official from the great state of Oklahoma. He began his officiating career in 1995 in order to pay his way through college and stay in shape. His passion for the sport and opportunity to give back to the game still fuels his desire to officiate today. His highest honor is being selected as a state tournament official and calling multiple state championship games. Throughout his years of service he has witnessed a vast decline in overall sportsmanship and unruly fan behavior is soaring. Game officials in every sport at any level have become public enemy #1 and often serve as a human sound board for angry spectators or an excuse as to why a team won or lost a contest.
